While attending a dog show with my English Bulldog, I saw a beautiful little frog
dog, Frenchie. I fell in love with the breed from the start. They look at you with
such adoration. They steal your heart and I love the fact they are lap dogs. The
English are too but they are not as easy to carry around.
My first French Bulldog was bought from Lonny and Laura Stoffer they finished her
for me in no time. CH Twin Lakes Adorable Rider, “Dorrie”. I raised a litter from
Dorrie and kept a wonderful brindle boy. CH Gfeller’s Pierre Pikachu. Pierre is our
stud dog and is co-owned by Marcia Williamson. He has sired some beautiful
puppies and Champions. He is available for stud to approved bitches.
My foundation bitch is Gfeller’s Dorianene D’McKee, a little crème bitch. She is just
like her dad Dorian with a beautiful head and wonderful personality. She has just
had a litter of two and one is now in the show ring and is doing very well, Gfeller’s
My Cheri Amour. Her sister, Gfeller’s Ebony and Ivory has not started showing yet,
but is a beautiful bitch also. CH Pierre Pikachu is the sire of the litter.
Before purchasing any breed of dog learn about the breed through books and the
AKC website. It is not enough to love a dog you must be a responsible pet owner.
There are too many dogs and cats that are being put to sleep each day simply
because people bought them and are now tired of taking care of them. Rescue
dogs need homes also. Contact your rescue clubs to find out what they have.
